All synthesiser presets, sound samples, foley recordings, field recordings, and related sound design materials provided under the Arrestiv Sound Co. brand (collectively referred to as “Arrestiv”) remain the intellectual property of Arrestiv Sound Co.
These materials are protected under international copyright laws and treaties. They are made available under a licence for use, not ownership, as outlined in the Arrestiv Sound Co. End User License Agreement (EULA).

End User License Agreement (EULA)
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between you (the “Licensee”) and Matt Rippon, trading as Arrestiv Sound Co. (the “Licensor”).
This Agreement covers all sound libraries, samples, presets, recordings, and related audio content made available by Arrestiv Sound Co. (the “Sound Libraries”).
By downloading, accessing, or using any Sound Libraries, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
1. Grant of License
The Licensor grants the Licensee a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to use the sounds contained within the Sound Libraries (the “Sounds”), subject to the terms below.
The Sounds are provided free of charge. Any donations made are voluntary and do not alter the terms of this license.
2. Rights Granted
The Licensee is permitted to:
a. Install and use the Sound Libraries on one or more personal or professional workstations, and create backup copies as needed.
b. Use, modify, and incorporate the Sounds into media projects, including but not limited to:
- Film and video
- Music and audio productions
- Games and interactive media
- Broadcast, online, and commercial content
- Podcasts and multimedia presentations
c. Distribute and publicly perform the Sounds only when incorporated into a larger project that includes additional elements such as music, dialogue, visuals, or other media.
3. Restrictions
The Licensee may not:
a. Redistribute, resell, share, sublicense, or make available the Sounds as standalone files, whether free or paid.
b. Use the Sounds to create or contribute to any competing sound library, sample pack, or audio collection (in whole or in part).
c. Use the Sounds, in whole or in part, for the purpose of training, developing, or improving any artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), or neural network systems.
d. Use the Sounds in any product where the primary value is the Sounds themselves, including but not limited to:
- Sound effect collections
- Soundboard apps
- Ambient or soundscape releases consisting primarily of the Sounds
- Audio packs or libraries
e. Claim ownership or authorship of the Sounds, whether modified or unmodified.
4. Intellectual Property
All Sounds and Sound Libraries remain the intellectual property of the Licensor.
This Agreement grants usage rights only. Ownership is not transferred.
5. Termination
This license will automatically terminate if the Licensee breaches any terms of this Agreement.
Upon termination, the Licensee must cease all use of the Sounds and delete all copies in their possession.
6. Disclaimer
The Sounds are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.
The Licensor shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or issues arising from the use of the Sound Libraries.
7. Indemnity
The Licensee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Licensor against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from misuse of the Sounds or breach of this Agreement.
8. Assignment
The Licensee may not transfer, sublicense, or assign this license to any third party except as part of a completed media project as permitted in Section 2.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
